Week 10: The Official Game Trailer & Final Scene Development



 
Executor Animation
The executor moves her body in the background of the second room, with her eternal gaze placed on the player.
I downloaded an animation of arms moving around from Maximo and used Retargeter to retarget the skeleton of the MetaHuman Character. The executor got her idle animations in the background.


Final Room Development




After composing a aesthetic draft of what the relic component in the final room - an alter - looks like, I used MidJourney to generate two feasible deco archetecture pieces and used Tripo AI to generate two 3D meshes.

The symbolism embodied in drafts are references of a uterus, for a uterus is where birth and reborn happens. Plus, a human body part with a pink color theme reflects safety and the rebirth of teeth for the reconcilation of the story’s end.


After importing, I created a new material to create dream-like atmosphere of the relic components.
I used Rect Light and Post Process Volume to improve the blooms of the map to make softer edges. I reapply and adjusted the material instance to create similar textures for pillars and archetectures in the background.
